What are 3 things I learned...
- That the typical home keyboard is referred to as QWERTY because of the keys at the top of it...also surrounding the topic of the keyboard is the differences in learning to use the keyboard: that its a waste of time or that it would be beneficial, but there is a compromise if they have time they will implement it. I took a typing class in high school best thing I ever done.
- The six ideas or visions that students have a right too, according to the IRA. Unfortunately, the money that is recommended to be spent on technology education is 30% of the budget; however, only 6% is being used.
- The three language arts areas that integration strategies are being applied too: language skills development, literacy development, and process writing approach.
What are 2 things to integrate...
- Video project relating to a book we are reading
- Concept mapping tools for writing
What is one thing I would learn more about...
- This chapter in general...As a future language arts teacher I would like to know more ways to implement technology into my classroom.
